BID NOTICE
The Village of Potsdam will accept sealed bids for the following surplus items:
1. Retired beacon light pole from the Potsdam Municipal Airport. The tapered pole measures 55 feet in length, with a 7 foot crow’s nest at the top
2. Brandt Coin Sorter & Counter, Model 930
3. Brandt Coin Package Crimper, Model 763
4. Semacon Coin Counter/Offsorter, Model S-140
The bids shall be submitted in a sealed envelope with the name of the bid item clearly marked on the outside. The envelope should contain a clearly written document with the name of the bidder, a telephone number, as well as the bid amount for the item. All bids are required to be submitted to the Village Clerk’s office either in person at 2 Park Street, Potsdam, NY, or by mail to PO Box 5168, Potsdam, NY, 13676. The deadline for all bids will be Tuesday, July 7, 2026, at 11:00 am where they will be opened and announced publicly. To arrange a time to view an item, please contact the Village Clerk, Georgine Scott at 315-265-7480 Ext. 1. The Village of Potsdam reserves the right to reject any or all bids if it is deemed in its best interest.
