Special Meeting of the Village of Potsdam Board of Trustees Scheduled

The Village of Potsdam Board of Trustees have scheduled a special meeting on Monday, April 27, 2026, at 5:30 pm in the Civic Center Board Room, 2 Park Street, Potsdam, NY. The Special Meeting will be held to vote on the final budget for the upcoming fiscal year, June 1, 2026, through May 31, 2027 and any other matters that come before the Board.

NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARINGS SCHEDULED

The Village of Potsdam Board of Trustees will hold two public hearings on Monday, April 6, 2026, in the Civic Center Board Room, 2 Park St., Potsdam, NY.

The first public hearing will begin at 5:00 pm with the purpose of receiving comments regarding the proposed Local Law 1-2026 to amend Chapter 153 Taxation, Article IXA Tax Cap Override, §153-45.1 Legislative Intent and §153-45.2 Tax Levy Limit Override of the Village of Potsdam Municipal Code to change the wording to read “Fiscal Year Commencing June 1, 2026”.

The second public hearing will begin at 5:10 pm with the purpose of receiving comments on the proposed tentative Village budget for the Fiscal Year 2026-2027. Copies of the proposed Local Law 1-2026 and the preliminary budget can be obtained from the Village Clerk at the Civic Center, 2 Park Street, Potsdam, NY, 13676, and on the Village website, villageofpotsdamny.gov.
