Week 1: Adventure in the USA (June 30 – July 3)
This week, we’re celebrating the spirit of America with a week full of fun, games, and patriotic pride! Happy Independence Week!
Week 2: Potsdam’s Got Talent (July 7 – July 11)
This week, we’re helping campers discover their special talents and shine like stars with talent shows, music, dance-offs, acting skits, and even red carpet moments!
Week 3: Ball is life (July 14 – July 18) (NEW)
This week, it’s all about the game, because Ball is Life! Campers will explore the fundamentals of basketball, soccer, softball, golf, swimming, field hockey, pickleball, and football. From drills to games, we’ll build skills, boost confidence, and have a blast trying out a wide range of sports on the field, court, and at the beach. Let’s play hard and have fun all week long!
Week 4: Top Secret: Camp confidential (July 21- July 25)
This week, campers will dive into spy training, crack mysteries, tackle scavenger hunts, and solve team puzzles, all leading up to the big reveal of a top-secret camp mystery!
Week 5: Dream Big week (July 28 – Aug 1)
This week, campers will discover a world of careers through hands-on fun and meet real-life heroes, with special visits from our local fire station, police officers, EMTs, and more!
Week 6: Camp Olympics (Aug 4 – Aug 8)
Get ready for Camp Olympics! A week of friendly competition and nonstop fun! Each day brings new mini-tournaments like track races, tug-of-war, and silly relay games, all ending with a medal ceremony fit for champions!
What’s New and Exciting This Year?
We’re offering a fresh and exciting lineup of activities and opportunities in 2025, including:
- Swimming is back! For the first time in years, campers will have access to swimming as part of the program.
- Meal Program (details to come) to help fuel all the fun and adventure.
- Off-Site Visits to local businesses and attractions! Think ice cream trips, cafés, and parks! (weather permitting)
- Daily and Weekly Updates to keep families engaged with their campers’ learning and activities, all centered around the theme.
- Library Partnership with hands-on literacy activities that inspire a love of reading and creativity, all centered around the theme.
- Structured and unstructured play designed to support both guided learning and free exploration, inspired by our weekly theme.
- Smaller Group Sizes for more 1:1 attention and support.
- Inclusive Environment for all abilities, certified through the NYS Department of Health.
- Exciting Field Trips, including a visit to Ives Park, where campers can paddleboard, kayak, and participate in a mini race with prizes! (Weather permitting)
