On Friday, January 23, 2026, the Potsdam Public Museum Staff attended a tour of the Akwesasne Cultural Center, 321 SR 37, Akwesasne, NY, organized by the Northern New York Library Network.
Archivist – Hans Kuno, Historian – Hunter Crary, and Museum Assistant – Mary Gilbert toured the Center’s spaces, including its library, museum, storage spaces, and gift shop led by Director Justin Cree. Justin shared information about the Center’s history as well as current work, including how they are setting priorities when there is always so much to be done.
