Potsdam Chamber of Commerce and Village of Potsdam Present Light the Night Parade.
The Potsdam Chamber of Commerce, in partnership with the Village of Potsdam, is excited to announce the annual Light the Night Holiday Parade, taking place in downtown Potsdam on Saturday, December 6, 2025.
The evening begins with parade line-up at 5:00 pm, followed by the parade down Market Street at 6:00 pm. After the parade, the community is invited to gather in Ives Park for the annual Tree Lighting Ceremony at 6:30 pm.
The Light the Night Parade is a festive community tradition that brings together families, businesses, and organizations to celebrate the holiday season. Community members are encouraged to enter a float, decorate and light up a truck, or bring a musical routine to share in the holiday spirit.
Parade applications and details are available online at https://www.potsdamchamber.com/light-the-night/ . Space is limited, and entries will be accepted until capacity is reached.
