NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
Notice is hereby given that there will be two (2) public hearings held on Monday, April 7, 2025, beginning at 5:45 pm in the Civic Center Board Room, 2 Park Street, Potsdam, NY.
The purpose of the first public hearing is to receive comments regarding the proposed Local Law 2-2025 to amend Chapter 153 Taxation, Article IXA Tax Cap Override, §153-45.1 Legislative intent and §153-45.2 Tax levy limit override of the Village of Potsdam Municipal Code to change the wording to read “Fiscal Year Commencing June 1, 2025”.
The purpose of the second public hearing, which will directly follow the closing of the first, is to receive comments regarding the proposed tentative Village budget for the fiscal year 2025-2026.
